Website design and development for an excellent causeProject DetailsProject BriefProject Non BodyClient: BECA (Bilingual Education for Central America)Date: Fall 2013Tags: websitedesigndevelopmentdrupalresponsive About: In support of its educator recruitment and fundraising activities, BECA underwent a significant brand overhaul over the course of 2013. A website redesign and redeployment in the latter quarter of the year were key to this effort. The warm, inviting brand identity and site design were created by Elaine Chernov. A critical requirement was for the site to be based on a content management system that would enable the BECA team to easily update site content and add news and blog posts on a regular basis. I stepped in to help move the site from concept to production, using the Drupal content management platform. I also proposed the scope of the project be expanded to incorporate a responsive design, in order to help maximize the accessibility of the new site's content to any site visitor on any device. (Web development/design nerd-level detail available upon request.) Several jam-packed months later, we successfully launched in time to help BECA kick the year off right with a New Year's Day 2014 announcement. Visit the BECA website.
